Retriever-Friendly Bow Design

The open bow design of the Takacat provides an accessible and stable landing for easy entry and exit from shore to boat or on the water. Gear, dogs, and passengers can be loaded easily, and the open platform means hunting dogs can get in and out of the boat for retrieves without a ramp or a boost.

Moves Easily Through Dirty Shallow Water

Catamaran style construction creates a shallow draft that allows Takacat to move smoothly through low marshy backwater or a coastal inlet, with or without a motor. The light weight of the boat makes it easy to stealthily maneuver with a pole through low water and tight timber to quietly access roosting grounds or set decoys without grounding the boat.

Revolutionary Tube Transom®

The open Tube Transom® and raised deck allows for drainage and prevents the boat from holding water onboard, so gear and feet stay dry! When the boat is not in use, the unique and lightweight Tube Transom® is fully removable to allow the boat to pack down into two carry bags for transport.

Stable and Roomy

Inflatable hulls and a high-pressure air deck removable floor creates a sturdy platform for loading. The firm non-skid surface has plenty of room for hunters, gear, dogs, and decoys. The aerodynamic tapered bow slices through rough water for a smooth comfortable ride.

Paw and Abrasion Resistant

Heavy-duty 0.9 mm, 1,000 Denier custom made 3-ply PVC reinforced fabric material is tough enough to resist puncture by excited paws and flooded timber, and exclusive camo colorways offer even more durable PVC material. Hull tubes are reinforced with full-length extra rubber along the underside and rubberized rub rails on the sides to provide superior durability through marshy waters and when beaching. Takacat is also available with UV stabilized Hypalon / CSM (Polyethylene Synthetic Rubber) material.

Exclusive Camo Colorway*

The Takacat exclusive camo colorways make concealment easy right out of the bag so you can be the first on the water, even in the most remote backcountry. Camouflage printed rubber hulls create built-in cover from wary birds without the need for time-consuming diy that requires a trailer. Digi Camo and Wood Camo 1.0 mm, 1,100 Denier PVC material is thicker than standard Takacat models. *Available through select dealers only.

Get on the water faster with the speedy electric pump. Boat inflation takes 4-5 minutes, depending on the size of the Takacat you are inflating.
